RC:056 | SHE Spells Doom
Influenced by 80s sci-fi & horror movies, Congolese Rhumba and early 00s rap in combination with House and Techno, Zambian music producer SHE Spells Doom hybrids all of his influences into a sweaty club experience.
With releases on labels like the Parisian Monstart, New York’s Sweat Equity and a bunch of bootlegs that have been on rotation on NTS Radio and Rinse FM, the brainchild of Wamya Tembo has developed a growing and impressing discography over the past seven years.
His recording for the Rhythmic Culture podcast is a blood flowing thrill which balances many opposites: sensual beats and feisty drum madness, mesmerizing rituals and rave belters, NYC 4-to-the-floors and breaky club steppers. Buckle up!
